WordPress website design and build for an ecologist
The brief
After founding the business in 2014, Alar Ecology approached me to produce a logo and stationery. A year later, once they had established themselves, Alar Ecology required a website that would demonstrate their range of services and high standards of professionalism. Key requirements were that the website be mobile-friendly and use a content management system so that they could add news stories and services in-house.
The solution
WordPress is an excellent choice for a content management system since it is open-source and well supported. I designed and built a custom WordPress theme for Alar Ecology which is fully responsive. This means the website changes according to the screen size of the user’s device – perfect for users viewing the website on mobile phones or tablets.
